FOLLOW US ON THE SHOOT AT VALLØ
At Bogart, we like a sporty look with a focus on comfort, without this coming at the expense of a trendy expression.
Go for trousers and shorts in looser fits, midi skirts, layered and comfortable shoes, such as sandals and sneakers. We took our models, Gabriela and Adam, to Vallø, a barely 1 km long peninsula in Tønsberg. The island consists of open, dry landscape and reminds in many ways of a desert that flows into the open sea. In other words, a suitable location for a photoshoot to show off sporty, everyday outfits.
Gabriela and Adam both work in Bogart - Adam at Bogart The Office and Gabriela in our stores. At Vallø, we dressed them both up in different outfits, to hopefully inspire you!
The West
The vest is just as relevant this year as it was last year. It adds a sporty twist to an outfit, and is very appropriate for the season we are in now, where the temperatures can vary a lot. Gabriela is wearing a quilted vest from Rains, a skirt from Gramicci and sneakers from Veja.
Focus on comfort
When the days get warmer and the pace slows down, we want the clothes to be in style for this. A sure buy for this season, and for years to come, is a pair of Birkenstocks . They go with absolutely everything, and are comfortable to wear at the same time. Together with an oversized shirt and a pair of wide trousers, you have a delicious leisure outfit. Birkenstocks are just as relevant for men as for women.
Batik pattern
This year, batik takes a big place in the fashion scene, for both men and women. The familiar pattern gives a relaxed expression. Adam is wearing a crew neck with a matching cap, in a batik pattern from Acne Studios. Don't be afraid to use color this season! This purple color, for example, is a breath of fresh air in every wardrobe.
The season's outerwear
Most of us are well familiar with the concept of Norwegian summer, and know that it can often be nice to have warmer clothes available. The day of the photo shoot at Vallø was no exception. The weather quickly changed from blue skies to drizzle and wind. Then it was extra good that we had packed more of the season's outerwear with us
Here is Gabriela in this season's novelty from the Norwegian brand Attic - a quilted outer jacket , slightly oversized in shape. By dressing in layers, in the same colours, you create a stylish expression.
A fleece jumper is also always a safe bet. Here is Adam in a warm and colorful fleece jumper from Patagonia. The jumper breathes well, transports moisture and dries quickly.
Barbour is world famous for its iconic wax jackets. The jacket Gabriella wears here is the result of a design collaboration between Barbour and Alexa Chung. The model is called Lucille.
With a jacket like this, you keep both wind and water away, while still looking trendy. The jacket is made somewhat shorter, to create a flattering silhouette. Also notice the angled pocket with the little fish in the zipper, which creates a fun detail.
