Rubber boots, also called rain boots, sea boots, impact boots and others, are waterproof boots made of rubber, PVC plastic or rubberized leather. Such footwear is used to protect the feet and legs against water, mud and moisture, for example in rain and during work in wet environments. Thicker rubber boots can also be used as protective equipment, for example against minor punctures and bumps. The inside of rubber boots is usually lined with thin textile.
